The Boswell Sisters were pioneers in harmony singing and used many great NY jazzmen (Berigan, Dorseys, Klein, etc) for their Brunswick sessions of the 1930s.

Connie (left), Vet (standing) and Martha (at the piano) in one of their great close harmony performances. Here from the movie “The Big Broadcast” is their take on the Louis Armstrong classic, “Heebie Jeebies”.
